The success of “AM to PM” sparked the release of the album “Christina Milian” internationally, except in the United States. The second single “When You Look at Me” was another international success reaching the Top 5 in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Ireland and reached the Top 40 in Denmark, Germany, Australia and France. Although there was a third music video from the album called “Get Away” (with another Ja Rule collaboration) it was filmed in Paris, but an official single never came out.

Later Milian would collaborate in a new track named “It’s All Gravy” with the British singer Romeo from the group “So Solid Crew”. While the song became a hit in the UK entering the Top 10 in 2002, a year later Milian collaborated with the song “Call Me Beep Me” for the new Disney Channel series Kim Possible.

In 2003, Milian began recording the songs of what would be her second album, and the first in the United States, with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Bloodshy & amp; Avant and Cory Rooney, the album was titled It’s About Time (the title is a direct reference to the long time it took to release their first album in their country). When “It’s About Time” concluded its rise with a lackluster number of only 385,000 copies sold in the United States, the album gained prominence when it was nominated for a Grammy Award as “Best Album of R & B Contemporary” in 2005. < / p>
